Both depositories rolled out the SEBI transmission SOP and forms, with NSDL monthly transmission reporting due from September. July KYC/KRA non-compliant accounts face a 5 September freeze.

NSDL mandates Regulatory Authority Details, Order Type and Order Date on regulatory freezes (UDiFF Transaction Upload / COD). CDSL CDAS adds parallel Authority Details / Order Date / Order Type fields.
SEBI transmission SOP and common forms go live

NSDL publishes the SOP and six-month monthly .xls reporting (August report due 5 September). CDSL applies revised forms from 22 August (clarified annexure map in DP2026-580).
Demise freeze and nomination field packs expand
NSDL/POLICY/2026/0123
Demise intimation requires notifier and death fields before reason-09 freeze (BOD 29 August). Nomination mandates name, relationship and minor DOB; CDSL clarifies minor flag and conditional guardian relationship (28 August).
